The raffia can be seen as a crafty technique used in the countryside, but not any more. After reviewing fashion shows from Dolce and Gabbana or Tory Burch, it's pretty clear that this material can be styled in many different ways and contexts. For me, every time I see items made of straws I find myself craving for a beach day, I start to daydream about a tropical day off under the palm trees and the sound of the sea... not bad, right? But even though I live on an island sometimes I can't make it to the beach as much as I would like to. Bummer!  However I made a selection of few cool items that will help you to embrace this trend. La raffia puede parecer como una técnica manual utilizada solo en las áreas rurales, para ya no! Luego de visualizar los desfiles de moda de Dolce & Gabbana y Tory Burch, queda claro que este material puede ser utilizado de varias maneras y en diferentes contextos. Para mi, cada vez que veo un accessorio hecho de paja me entra un antojo insoportable de ir a la playa y me pongo a soñar despierta con la idea de tomarme un dia libre y sentarme debajo de las palmas oyendo el sonido del mar... no suena como mala idea, ¿cierto? Sin embargo, a pesar de que vivo en una isla tropical no siempre suelo ir a la playa tanto como me gustaría. ¡Que decepción!
