The Ultimate Road Trip From San Francisco To LA
This trip did not come from nowhere, we had almost a year planning this family adventure. We have two cousins living in San Francisco, California, and we were invited to spend a few days with them. We thought that if we were about to take that long trip to the Pacific Coast we needed to take advantage and visit other cities too, and so this "road trip from San Francisco to LA" was born.
There are several routes to make a road trip from San Francisco to LA, one of the most famous is the Pacific Highway that surrounds the ocean. The road is uphill and curvy but the view is impressive and exciting. The trip takes about eight hours approximate, of course if you add the stops to take pictures, go to the bathroom, get gas, buy candy and stop by some cities along, then you would have to add 1-2 hours more.
I must confess to make a this road trip from San Francisco to LA is not as easy as it seems, you spend many hours inside a car (if you suffer from motion sickness, I suggest you take a "dramamine" lees drowsy one hour before departure) and you have to make up all the stories, jokes and games possible so that no one falls asleep because it's not fair for the driver, also enjoying the view is part of the tour.
As we were 4 people in a car, we didn't have a lot of space to pack 10 bags with different pairs of shoes, so it's better if you organize your outfits in advance. I knew that the trip would last four days so I created from 1-2 daily outfits. Also, it is important to check the weather, that helped me a lot, we're not used to pay attention to what happens in the Weather Channel however in other countries the temperature can be very bipolar so you have to be prepared.[/symple_tab][/symple_tabgroup]

WHAT TO PACK
For a road trip from San Francisco to LA, I recommend bringing 3 pairs of shoes: some heels, a flats and comfortable sneakers (of course this will depend on where you are going and the activities you plan to do). It really worked for me, I was very comfy all day long, but I knew we wanted to enjoy the night life in LA so a pair of black wedges were the magic touch. As for the outfits, I opted for simple and basic pieces: dresses, jeans, shorts, t-shirts, a sweater and a jacket. Then I packed many accessories as I could to make more interesting a simple pair of jeans and a t-shirt. The advantage is that accessories are lighter, smaller and offers variety, plus they give you the ability to create different looks.
Thanks to those who followed me live with my publications instagram, only to see them I get so nostalgic but at the same time I feel blessed to have these opportunities in life . Hope you enjoy the video from San Francisco to LA !
